How to take your own measurements: Taking your measurements is the first step to helping you feel comfortable when shopping on line. Vintage sizing can vary from piece to piece so once you have your measurements taken, you'll be ready to shop!
Our vintage dresses cater for almost any shape and size! When you know your measurements, you'll be able to find the perfect dress to suit you.
Bust: Use a measuring tape to measure the fullest part of your bust whilst wearing a bra.
Waist: Measure the smallest part of your natural waist line.
Hips: Stand with your feet close together and measure the fullest part of your hips.
To ensure your comfort, once you have your measurements, add an extra inch if you would like your garment to fit more comfortably. The specific fit is up to the individual and will determine how the garment will sit. We will always let you know if the fabric is fitted or has stretch.
Our Measurements: "When in doubt, measure!"
Each of our vintage garments has been measured with the item laying on a flat surface. This means you will need to double the measurement of the bust/waist/hips to ensure a correct fit.
Remember you won't need to double the length. This is the length from the top of the shoulder to the hem for a dress, or from the top of the waist line to hem for a skirt. Our models vary in height, so it's good to use the measurement if you're concerned about length.
